I’ve spent nine years in the travel industry and now lead marketing at Involved Holidays. My favourite destination we offer is the Costa Blanca, and the dish I can’t stop thinking about is berenjenas con miel, Andalucian fried aubergine drizzled with honey, which I discovered on my travels.

What I enjoy most about this job is giving people the chance to experience the authentic side of a destination, not just the well-worn tourist trail. My top travel tip is a simple one: make a checklist when you pack, and keep a copy so you can use it again when you’re packing your case at the end of the holiday.

Away from work, I enjoy the occasional leisurely round of golf and have a genuine passion for all things stop motion, a hobby that keeps me just as patient and creative as my day job does.
