Tip One
Invite a friend or family member to take a stroll along your favourite walking trail or path. Reconnect and reminisce, taking in the fresh air and scenery

Tip Two
Explore a local nature trail, taking in the wonderful flora & fauna that your local area has to offer.

Tip Three
Explore a forgotten path or a trail you’ve never used before and discover where it takes you!

Tip Four
Take a picture but don’t make it snappy! Take time to capture meaningful pictures of landscapes, wildlife, close ups of insects & most importantly of yourself having fun!

Tip Five
Take a local evening stroll around sunset and find the perfect place to capture the magic of the sun setting across the landscape.
(Don’t go too far from home. It’ll be darker before you know it!)

Tip Six
Take a simple walk on your own. It’s great to experience things on your own sometimes. Enhance your walk by listening to your favourite music/podcast or perhaps an audio book.
Tip Seven
Enjoy a local scavenger hunt or try geocaching.
Geocaching is a great way to get out and about and discover the great outdoors and learn more about places you wouldn’t normally visit.

Tip Eight
Mix it up and explore the different types of walking out there! From urban walking to Nordica walking there are plenty of different ways to get those steps in!

Tip Nine
Get up and go on your lunch time! Enjoy a walk around the block or take a longer lunch to take in some fresh air and get away from your work task or daily routine!

Tip Ten
Rise and shine, the early bird catches the worm and all that! Set your alarm half an hour before the sunrise (Mid May 05:08 am) and take in the beauty of the beginning of a new day!
