Walking Holiday in Mallorca and Menorca
Experience the highlights of the Balearics on a soothing island-to-island walking escape across Mallorca and Menorca. Blending unhurried guided routes with relaxed free days, this trip invites you to enjoy the charm of two very different Mediterranean islands at a gentle pace that suits you.
Your adventure starts on Mallorca’s peaceful northeastern coast, where rolling pine hills, traditional farmland and rugged headlands shape the beautiful scenery. On your first guided walk, you’ll follow paths towards Capdepera - a welcoming village crowned by its atmospheric medieval castle. With picturesque sea views and tranquil trails, it’s the perfect introduction to Mallorca’s quieter side.
As the holiday continues, you’ll uncover the varied landscapes of the Llevant Peninsula, wandering from shady forest to soft dunes before reaching the turquoise coves of Cala Moltó and Cala Agulla. Hidden bays, easy-going coastal paths and the optional climb to the Son Jaumell watchtower add a little extra adventure. Your free days allow you to relax by the sea, revisit favourite strolls, or simply enjoy the warm island atmosphere.
Midway through the holiday, a scenic ferry crossing brings you to Menorca, a calmer, nature-rich island recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Your coastal walks here showcase the island’s soft sands and crystal-clear waters, including a beautiful trail from Son Saura to Cala Galdana. With stops at Macarella and Turqueta, this stretch is perfect for walkers who appreciate striking views, vivid colours and peaceful seaside spots.
Another guided outing leads you along Menorca’s eastern coast, beginning at the dramatic, moonlike terrain of Favàritx before gently weaving into S’Albufera des Grau Natural Park. Rich with birdlife, wild herbs and coastal plants, this protected area offers a slower, more reflective walking experience. The day finishes in Es Grau, an idyllic fishing village with calm waters and whitewashed houses that make a lovely place to unwind.
With expert leaders, well-chosen routes and ample time to relax, this holiday is ideal for those who enjoy easy coastal strolls, island discovery and the pleasure of exploring beautiful landscapes at a comfortable, unhurried rhythm.
