“My clients say they don’t want a walking holiday.” We hear this a lot – and it’s worth reassuring them. These are holidays first, with gentle, optional walks included on certain days. Sun loungers are very much part of the package too.
What we actually sell are holidays with walks built in on a few of the days, for anyone who fancies them. That one distinction changes the whole conversation with your clients, and it’s the reason agents keep coming back to us when a customer says “I’m not sure about a walking holiday.”
Never. Every walk is entirely optional. If your clients would rather spend the morning by the pool with a book, that’s completely fine – just let our tour guide know the night before and they’ll make sure your clients are all set to relax while the rest of the group heads out.
Not when you spread it across a full day. With regular breaks, a leisurely lunch stop, and plenty of time to take photos or catch your breath, 6 miles feels like nothing. In fact, you’ll probably cover a similar distance wandering round the shops in London or Edinburgh for a day out – and that’s without the beautiful views!
Not at all. We always go at the pace of the slowest walker. Guides build in plenty of stops along the way, so even clients who wouldn’t call themselves walkers tend to say it was one of their favourite parts of the trip.

Most of our holidays are single-centre – one hotel for the whole trip. Your clients unpack once and relax, with day trips and walks from their base rather than moving hotel every night or two.
